This is God’s plan for making salvation available to the entire world. It is what Christ came for(v12:27). It is what the disciples did immediately following the experience of Pentecost. It is what Paul did after his conversion until his death. It is the proper response to anyone who has experienced a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Everywhere that Christ is lifted up, people WILL be drawn to Him. It is the power of the Gospel message.

We at Living Arts Ministries believe in the power of the Gospel to bring Salvation to all who will receive it. Every participant in this ministry has had their lives radically transformed by their faith in Jesus Christ. There is nothing in our human existence that the Gospel cannot touch and bring new life to. The Lord has called us (and all Believers) to share the good things God has done in our lives and to extend the invitation of the Gospel to all we meet.

The simple vision of Living Arts Ministries is to “Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Words and Music.” We are striving to lift up Jesus in words and music so that all those who see, read and hear will be drawn to the Savior. There is no glory or honor in the words and music themselves, no power in the methods, talents or techniques used to share them. They are simply direction arrows that point to the risen Christ. That is the exclusive vision and goal for Living Arts Ministries.

Words and Music is our intentionally open-ended description. The Lord has given us a vision for sharing the Gospel in print and electronic media, recorded, printed and live music and live theatre, each of them on their own timeline, which itself is in the Lord’s hands. Currently, we are working on producing the first LAMP Songbook and an accompanying recording.

The LAM Worship Band is the primary direct ministry the Lord has given us and it is growing in clarity of vision. Through the ministry opportunities we have had, God has opened our hearts to a fuller understanding of where we should walk as we move forward. Ministering the Lord’s presence through music alongside the sharing of testimonies, the Word and a time at the altar for prayer, is where I believe the Lord is leading us.

Our online ministry exists to share what God has blessed us with with the Body of Christ around the world. Our vision is to make it a full and useful resource for those with internet access. All of the materials online will be made available without cost.

Which bring us to the final element of the vision for Living Arts Ministries and that is that no ministry will ever be denied to those who want them. All materials, CD’s, music and books will be available for free to everyone. Support for the ministry comes as the Lord leads those touched by the ministry to give what they can. The reason for this is broad and beyond the scope of this page, but we will be sharing about it in an upcoming article.

It is our constant prayer that God minister His fullness to the needs of those we reach. The Cross of Jesus Christ has provided all that anyone needs for redemption, healing and fullness of joy. Work out your salvation in fear and trembling and cast your cares upon Him. He is more than able and faithful to complete it!
