What an incredible privilege to have the testimony of Jesus! How much love we should have for every single person who calls Jesus the Lord of their life! The testimony of Jesus in every believer is the irrefutable proof that the gospel is true and does what Jesus said it will do.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Doug’s Testimony

This message from Jesus is for every believer. Salvation itself is endued with the power to accomplish it. Our sanctification was provided for by Christ when the gospel was fulfilled. From the moment we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, God begins to bring about the fullness of freedom that is already provided for in the Cross of Christ. The Holy Spirit is tireless to pursue us and bring it to pass. It is for God’s glory alone that He do so!

I say all that to encourage you to rejoice in your testimony and the testimony of others. Daily remember what God has done and is doing in your life. Have patience and love towards your brothers and sisters in the Lord who are also working through their salvation in fear and trembling. Remember the words of David:

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

We pray that the testimony of what God has done in our lives so far, will be an encouragement to you. God’s faithfulness is beyond our comprehension and understanding. Don’t let failure and struggling condemn you, but rather rejoice that the Lord will tirelessly pursue you in love to bring you into holiness and the fullness of joy that He intended. Surrender to that work of love today.
